Fini Proof · CLI 0.6.4

A check that cannot be shown to fail is not evidence.

A Fini Proof check that has not been shown to fail is not evidence. This page describes the control the published 0.6.4 CLI runs before it judges your code.

Before an engine reads your repository, fini-proof 0.6.4 runs that engine on planted defects (negative controls) and on clean look-alikes (positive controls). If the engine misses a planted defect, the verdict is NOT_MEASURED. It is not PASS.

The package names six engines: hollow tests, secrets, fail-open CI, skipped tests, cross-tenant queries, and dangerous migrations. Each finding is meant to name a file, a line, a rule and a command that reproduces it. The same input is supposed to produce the same verdict. The engines do not call a language model.

This is not a claim that every bug is found, that the result is mathematically proven, or that a third party has certified the product. A control that passed on Finipe’s own planted cases says the engine can fail in that case. It does not say your repository is free of defects the engine does not look for.

Fini Proof answers whether these deterministic checks ran, whether their controls behaved, and what they found. It does not describe any other review tool.
